Mix Daal



INGREDIENTS 



·       
1 cup of Mix Daals ( chana daal, tuver daal, red and green lentils or
any other daal of choice)
·       
3 to 4 cups water for pressure cooking the dals or soak it overnight for
easy boil
·       
Ginger and garlic paste
·       
1 tomato – finely chopped or Tomato paste
·       
1 onion – finely chopped
·       
½ tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
·       
½ tsp mustard seeds
·       
½ tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
·       
¼ to ½ tsp garam masala powder
·       
¼ tsp asafoetida powder/hing
·       
2 tbsp oil or ghee
·       
salt as required
